A Case Report utilizing the Nobel Active System
It is important to have metal contour under soft tissue that is accessible with dental instruments, tooth picks or dental floss. It is the responsibility of the dental laboratory and the restorative dentist to design these details to perfection.
The case has been completely restored in August 2008, and had been in maintennce since. In the first few weeks cheek biting was reported. This is not uncommon where buccal mucosa adapts to edentulous space for extended time.
