The Jin Kim Study Club offers seminars, and lectures on topics ranging from clinical periodontics, dental implants, and interdisciplinary clinical dentistry.

 

Surgical Mentorship is a unique program where participants actually observe patient cases from the treatment planning stage to surgery, and to the restorative stage. This program started in 1999 also allows participants to bring their own patients to the program, to be treated under supervision at the study club.

In 2019, West Coast Study Club became an affiliate of Seattle Study Club, and has started year-long continuum aimed at perfecting "whole dentistry," whereby the participants focus on comprehensive interdisciplinary approach dental care.

 

There are some 250 such network study clubs around the globe. 

The ongoing need for dental professionals to stay abreast of rapidly changing dental materials, technology, and knowledge was the basis for the educational endeavor of Dr. Jin Y. Kim and his team.  

 

The West Coast Study Club, as it is known today, was formed in 1999 as Orange County Dental Implant Institute. West Coast Study Club is currently a California Dental Board approved continuing education (CE) provider, as well as PACE Program (program approval for continuing education) provider for the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD).

From 2012-2022, Dr. Jin Kim was the founder and director of the educational entity, Global Dental Implant Academy, based in southern California. In 2022, he formed a premiere dental education forum, Next Level Dentistry, where he offers a variety of educational courses.
